South Kilworth Riding Club Rules

1. The judges decision is final.
2. The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class, refuse entry, withhold a prize or disqualify a competitor at any time and for any reason they deem sufficient.
3. Any misuse of a whip, failure to obey an order from a judge, steward or committee member, discourteous behaviour to any other show ground personnel may result in dismissal from the show ground.
4. Neither the organisers or land owners accept any liability for any accident, injury or illness to any animal, spectator, other persons or property whatsoever.
5. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the show at short notice in the event of adverse conditions.
6. Any objections or complaints must be made in writing and lodged with the chairman within 30 minutes of an alleged incident. It must be accompanied with £10 which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
7. It is the responsibility of the competitor to be in the correct ring at the correct time. Late arrival may result in disqualification.
8. Competitors jumping the practice jump may not jump above 3ft6.
9. Competitors must wear correct footwear when mounted, no pumps, trainers or shoes.
10.  Show jackets must be worn when show jumping.
11. The committee strongly recommend the use of body protectors.
12. Hard hats with correctly fitting chin straps must be worn at all times when mounted to be bs en1384 or pas015.
13. No whips or spurs in the gymkhana ring.
14. Any competitor entered in the 12 years & under ring may not compete in the main jumping ring with the exception of class 1.
15. All ridden animals are to be 4 years or over.
16. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
